WINTER STORM UPDATE

WINTER STORM UPDATE

The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER STORM WARNING from late Saturday (1/24/2026) through Monday afternoon (1/26/2026). Heavy snow is expected, with total accumulations of 8 to 14 inches, potentially higher in some areas.

NO PARKING ON SNOW-COVERED STREETS:
According to the Borough of Hasbrouck Heights Code, parking is not permitted on either side of the street when the street is covered with snow. This rule helps ensure that our snow plows can operate efficiently. The parking ban will remain in effect until the snow stops falling and the roads are adequately cleared for safe parking.

HHPD Parking Update:
*UPDATED*
OVERNIGHT PARKING REQUEST PERMISSION WILL BE SUSPENDED FROM SUNDAY 1/25 THROUGH WEDNESDAY 1/28.

PENDING NO FURTHER SNOW ACCUMULATION, THE OVERNIGHT PARKING REQUEST SYSTEM WILL BE BACK ON FOR THURSDAY, 1/29.

DPW Update:
Garbage pickup for ZONE 1 is CANCELED for Monday, 1/26.
